Earagail Arts Festival has become one of the
most important summer festivals in Ireland.

The Earagail Arts Festival is worth over €2 million to the local
economy. Year on year the Festival achieves feats which
other festivals wouldn’t even dream of attempting.

Donegal audiences with brilliant
outdoor events in spectacular locations around the county that are
suitable for all ages.
The
Earagail Arts Festival celebrates and creates a high profile
platform for the contemporary and the traditional arts in Donegal. It
reflects the unique character and demographic of the region by
presenting an exciting, high quality, bi-lingual programme of arts
activities across a wide geographical area of North Donegal.
The
Earagail Arts Festival
provides a unique and magical blend of over 80 events and installations
at 35 venues across Donegal. During the festival, events are held in
towns and villages from Inishowen to Dungloe. The Festival’s mix of
music, theatre, outdoor family shows, children’s events, exhibitions and
films, present innovative and exciting work from the best of established
international, national and local artists.
Each year the Festival attracts over 25,000 people from Ireland
and abroad, as its reputation as one of Ireland’s finest cultural events
continues to grow. Last year the festival generated approximately €2m
for the local economy; a huge boost to tourism throughout the Northwest
and one set to continue as this
Earagail Arts Festival combines the
local with the international in a way unique to
Donegal.
