Mc Ginleys Bar is a wonderful old-style pub with an open turf fire. One of the longest-established music pubs in Letterkenny, McGinleys has live music from Wednesday through to Saturday night, including traditional music on a Wednesday evening. The bar is a fantastic place for quiet drinks during the week or lively entertainment at the weekend.

There are live bands on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. If you want to hear some great bands in Letterkenny this is the place to come to. This pub has 2 floors where most of the young folk stay upstairs’ and the older generation are downstairs. The little 'gallery' above the stage is a great place to watch the bands playing
