Description :The cottage sits on Lord George Hill's former estate, and is a subtle mixture of the modern and the traditional. A cosy, warm sitting room with beautiful views is complemented by modern kitchen facilities (which include a dishwasher). The utility room contains a washing machine, dryer, ironing facilities and a large freezer. The house is is very cheap to heat.

It is about two miles from the town of Ramelton, which boasts six pubs, three churches, three restaurants and a thriving supermarket. It is also about 15 minutes from Donegal's "boom town" of Letterkenny. But Ballyarr Cottage itself is set in a quiet, secluded "compound" comprising Ballyarr House, Ballyarr Lodge and Ballyarr Cottage.
